Different Card, Different Day 1/22/18 January 22 2018, 0 Comments

This adorable happy little mouse is a Stampin' Up! rubber stamp from 1996! I colored him in with watercolor paints and added some red heart punched images above him, like he's juggling them. The gold star is popped up using a foam adhesive dot.

Many different color paints were used and a small amount of shading added.  Originally this stamp has a "Hooray for you" above him but I taped it off while inking the stamp in black StazOn ink, then peeled the tape away before stamping it onto white cardstock. This left me with only the mouse.

Inside the card "Happy Valentine's Day" is stamped in blocks on the right side of the card, leaving plenty of room for a handwritten note. I have a feeling I'll be painting more of this little love mouse and you'll be seeing him soon. He's too cute not to recreate on other Valentine's Day themed cards.
