Different Card, Different Day 2/6/18 February 06 2018, 0 Comments

If you've been following my blog, you've seen this adorable little mouse before. He's a Stampin' Up! rubber wooden stamp from 1996 that I colored in with watercolors.

Originally in the stamp it reads "Hooray for you" between the mouse's hands but instead of stamping that part, I blocked it off with tape and arranged five red hearts made from punches. (Looks like he's juggling them).

Flip the card open and the inside reads "Whale you be my Valentine?" with a matching colored smiling whale.  I made this card for my Gram. She's 96 and I hand delivered it to her yesterday with a surprise visit. Needless to say...she loved it.

The flip card was designed by The Stamps Of Life by Stephanie Barnard. The checkerboard border is also part of the cutting die set to make this card. I inked them in red distress inks. A red sheer ribbon runs up the length of the card and is tied in a knot.

If you want to find out how this card was made, using which supplies or how I possibly could design a card for you, please contact me.  Leave me a comment too and let me know what you think about today's card of my daily "Different Card, Different Day" blog series.

Thanks for reading my blog. Enjoy your day.
