Different Card, Different Day 2/1/19 February 01 2019, 0 Comments

Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, I've been making personalized cards for friends of mine (for them to give to their significant others).  Typically "love" being a top theme these days. Today's card is one of them. Thought I'd share because it came out so cute.

The two turtles have shells that are popped up off the page and one has a wooden heart in hand. Since the "For You" sentiment is there, the implication is that the darker green turtle is giving his love to the lighter green turtle.   Very sweet.

On the inside is matching hand stamped leaves and flowers, surrounding a "Happy Valentine's" wish.

If you want to find out how this card was made, using which supplies or how I possibly could design a card for you, please contact me.  Leave me a comment too and let me know what you think about today's card of my daily "Different Card, Different Day" blog series.

Thanks for reading my blog. Enjoy your day.

Different Card, Different Day 1/26/19 January 26 2019, 0 Comments

These four hand drawn and watercolor painted cactus are in a line-up just to say "happy birthday".

A close up shows you some of the detail in the plants and their vases/planters.

Inside reads "Wishing you a very happy day".

The papers and green ribbon are complimentary to the variety of colors in the cactus drawing. Five round light green jewels are placed around the popped up sentiment for dimension.

A Get Well card for a friend January 24 2019, 0 Comments

Wishing my friend Bill a "Get Well" with a few hand drawn and watercolor painted cactus...saying hello in various ways.

Hope there's positivity out there for you during your healing/recovery. I know that I'm sending it your way!

I tried to make each of the cactus look like they were waving to him. (Except for the short round one in the front).

Thanks for reading my blog. Enjoy your day.
