Different Card, Different Day 2/11/18 February 11 2018, 0 Comments

"You & Me" with a playful cat theme. By the looks of it, the cat sitting in the bottom right of this card is looking up with love.

As the card opens up, the center cut out pops forward into view. The card is meant to fold this way and pretty much pops its way into shape as it is opened.

Using a play on words "Love Mew" appears under the branch with the cat, sitting in the moonlight. A few butterflies flutter up the right side and a couple of birds are flying along on the left side.

This was a very fun card to make.

Different Card, Different Day 11-28-17 November 28 2017, 0 Comments

The "Thank you's" are still going around during the week after Thanksgiving. Golden leaves light up and shimmer and shine when the light moves on this card.

An orange ribbon runs through the gift tag hole and across the front of the card. One of those shiny leaves pops off the card with a foam adhesive dot, giving it dimension.

Different Card, Different Day #10 May 10 2017, 0 Comments

A golden outlined black silhouette of a cat watching butterflies in the window, seems like such a serene scene. It's my featured card for day 10 of the "Different Card, Different Day" blog series.  There happens to be a great mix of flowers of daisies in the background, roses on the window sill and blue 3-dimensional flowers in the planter. Each of those centers are popped up with a dot of Stickles. The entire plant is raised off the card's surface with a small foam circle behind it. Along with the wooden word "happy", it adds depth to the card.

The inside has a white surface to write a message on but is built up with a green border layer underneath. Matching gold Dazzles outline stickers are placed in two corners for decoration. Sometimes I leave the insides of cards blank and other times I design them like this one.

A 'lil bit of extra info on this card: I made it for a friend of mine named Jennie. She lost her best friend in her beloved long-time pet, Tommy Cat. I wished to send her something beautiful as a memory and honor to her sweet boy. She soon after sent me a picture that made me feel honored with a text message:  "I'm never gonna let it go. I'm gonna put it with his urn".
