Different Card, Different Day 1/9/18 January 09 2018, 0 Comments

Experience is not what happens to you. It's what you do with what happens to you.

I just love this set of sewing themed stamps of mine and have blogged about other cards with similar designs I've made.

The dress form has two small white brads and a diamond necklace. A couple of buttons, blue tipped pin, blue ribbon, sewing zig-zags, distressed spool top and a measuring stick (weird way of saying "ruler") haha, are all placed on top of a pretty orange-reddish and white background.

This paper was chosen for the background because it reminded me of material. I also drew in sewing lines where I could to keep the "sewing" theme going.

If you want to find out how this card was made, using which supplies or how I possibly could design a card for you, please contact me.  Leave me a comment too and let me know what you think about today's card of my daily "Different Card, Different Day" blog series.

Thanks for reading my blog. Enjoy your day.

Different Card, Different Day #2 May 02 2017, 0 Comments

Today's "Different Card, Different Day #2" is rightfully displaying "Imagine" on this very imaginative metallic copper colored card.  The butterfly wings were made by burnishing super fine glitter onto sticky-sided clear acrylic sheets that were cut to fit the wings perfectly. The dress form stamp sets the background with other sewing themed stamped images like the thread spool and stitches. The paper ephemera envelope, tape measure and "Lucky 13 Drive-In" ticket were placed randomly as I designed the card.  When I was done I felt all the images and colors went well with one another.

If you want to find out more details on how this card was made, using which supplies, if it's still available for sale or how I possibly could design a card for you, please contact me.  Leave me a comment too and let me know what you think about day #2's card.

Thanks for reading my blog. Enjoy your day.
