Different Card, Different Day 2/3/18 February 03 2018, 0 Comments

I visited with newly born baby Kelsea Skye for the first time today and of course brought this shaker card I made, to give to her parents.

The shaker part of the card was where I put her handwritten name and a watercolor penciled giraffe, surrounded by tiny metallic hearts and sequins in matching colors.

Sitting in the lower left corner is a stack of happy watercolored animals.

When opened, the card reads "welcome little one". The circular design comes from one of my cutting dies and fit around the plastic shaker bubble perfectly. It's colored with a black distress ink.

The front of the card is also distress inked but in yellow. I rub the ink over the embossed raised images with my foam pad. Those silver dots were made using Stickles.

If you want to find out how this card was made, using which supplies or how I possibly could design a card for you, please contact me.  Leave me a comment too and let me know what you think about today's card of my daily "Different Card, Different Day" blog series.

Thanks for reading my blog. Enjoy your day.
