Different Card, Different Day 2/1/18 February 01 2018, 0 Comments
This skull and guitar themed Valentine's Day card was made for someone that is not so traditional during this particular holiday. She also happens to love skulls and anything "bad-ass". This was what I designed for her.
To get this punisher skull to hold the envelope in his mouth, I used an exacto knife to cut around the teeth and then slid the stamped envelope in. I glued it into place with my tape runner.
Since today is the first of the month and February might be considered a month of love, I'm posting this card because it's one of the non-typical ones you'll see me post on my blog.
I gave it to one of my best friends. And it's true...who needs a holiday to say I love you?
The golden wings and swirls make this card spectacular and shines with that golden glow. The message was meticulously hand stamped with alphabet rubber stamps, trying to keep them lined up and straight.
Adding the four Phillips head screw brads on the front corners was the finishing touch that I thought this card needed.
