Different Card, Different Day 1/27/18 January 27 2018, 0 Comments

You make life bearable. And...I love you. Wow! This panda bear stamp designed by The Stamps of Life - Stephanie Barnard is showing a lotta love! Look at all those hearts too.

He is a cutie pie with his little pink nose. Because of the great quality of Stephanie's rubber stamps, I get a perfectly stamped image every time. I also recommend StazOn black permanent ink.

Inside the "Happy Valentine's" is placed leaving plenty of room for your own handwritten message. The pink tag with three hearts looks likes it is nailed to the coral pink colored strip (matches the background paper on the front).

Here's the card in front of my window, showing it in the natural sunlight.

Different Card, Different Day 1/25/18 January 25 2018, 0 Comments

A perfect friend-to-friend Valentine's Day card. It sends hugs and kisses in a really fun way. Let your Valentine open their card to a surprise handpainted message.

When they untie the white gold-trimmed ribbons' bow, they'll find a "Friend-to-friend" insert for them to pull out.

The hidden message "Happy Valentine's" is underneath and leaves plenty of room for you to write your own personal message.

Those arm in arm little girls in their dresses and hats are painted with watercolor paints. An "XOXO" representing hugs and kisses is in the lower right corner.

Different Card, Different Day 1/24/18 January 24 2018, 0 Comments

Hello with a special message of "Thinking Of You" inside. This bright and cheerful card is decorated with the pinkest of holidays in mind, which is right around the corner. The butterfly on scrolled writing has a metallic heart on it's key shaped body.

The metallic copper colored wording matches the "Hello" on the front side of this card. Matching pink and taupe papers and dark red ribbon are also added.

Different Card, Different Day 1/23/18 January 23 2018, 0 Comments

Hello from the heart. This sweet Valentine's Day card is wishing a very heart-filled hello from this little girl in the yellow dress.  She comes from a 1996 Stampin' Up! rubber stamp set and was colored in with my watercolor paints. Very similar to the blog yesterday about the mouse stamp. The popped up envelope with heart is from my new stamp set by Paper Pumpkin in my latest club kit.

The golden "hello" with it's white shadow image behind it comes from The Stamps Of Life by Stephanie Barnard cutting dies. One is cut out from white cardstock and the other a metallic gold paper. She said in her video on her website that this is in her own handwriting. I thought that was pretty cool.

The black stripe with hearts is Washi tape wrapped around to the backside. This prevents the tape from ever peeling up on the sides of the card.

Inside I stamped "Happy Valentine's Day" and backed it on pink and red paper matching papers.

Different Card, Different Day 1/22/18 January 22 2018, 0 Comments

This adorable happy little mouse is a Stampin' Up! rubber stamp from 1996! I colored him in with watercolor paints and added some red heart punched images above him, like he's juggling them. The gold star is popped up using a foam adhesive dot.

Many different color paints were used and a small amount of shading added.  Originally this stamp has a "Hooray for you" above him but I taped it off while inking the stamp in black StazOn ink, then peeled the tape away before stamping it onto white cardstock. This left me with only the mouse.

Inside the card "Happy Valentine's Day" is stamped in blocks on the right side of the card, leaving plenty of room for a handwritten note. I have a feeling I'll be painting more of this little love mouse and you'll be seeing him soon. He's too cute not to recreate on other Valentine's Day themed cards.
